13. Google Analytics

This website uses features of Google Analytics, a web analytics tool provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), located at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics uses "cookies". Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer and allow analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is generally transferred to and stored on a Google server in the United States.

According to Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR, the processing of data and in particular the creation of cookies is subject to your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. However, such revocation will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of said consent prior to the revocation.

14. Data required for the newsletter

If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need you to provide us with an e-mail address and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No other data is collected, except for data that you provide to us on your own initiative. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties. The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form is based exclusively on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data and e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out before the revocation is not affected by this.

We retain the data you provide to us to receive the newsletter until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and delete it after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data that we retain for other purposes is not affected by this provision.

15. MailChimp

This website uses the services of MailChimp to send newsletters. This tool is provided by Rocket Science Group LLC, located at 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

MailChimp is a service that allows, among other things, to organize and analyze the sending of newsletters. When you enter data to receive the newsletter (e.g. an e-mail address), this data is stored on MailChimp's servers in the USA. MailChimp allows us to analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent with MailChimp, a file contained in the email (called a "web-beacon") connects to MailChimp's servers in the US. This makes it possible to determine whether a newsletter has been opened and, if so, which links the recipient has clicked on. In addition, technical information is recorded (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be attributed to the recipient of the newsletter. It is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of the newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to improve the relevance of future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.

If you do not want MailChimp to carry out these analyses, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We insert a corresponding link in each newsletter for this purpose. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website.

The data processing is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out before the revocation is not affected by the revocation. We retain the data you provide to us to receive the newsletter until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. This data is deleted from our servers as well as MailChimp's servers after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data that we store for other purposes are not affected by this provision.

Further information can be found in MailChimp's privacy policy at https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/.

We have concluded a data processing outsourcing agreement with MailChimp, in which we require MailChimp to protect our customers' data and prohibit it from passing on this data to third parties.

16. Facebook Pixel

We use the Facebook pixel on our website to analyze the effectiveness of Facebook ads. This service is provided by Facebook Ireland Ltd. at 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.

When you visit the website, your IP address and usage data are transmitted. It is difficult to attribute these to an individual. In addition, cookies are required and created in order to analyze the use of the website. Where processing is based on a request for consent, it is based exclusively on Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time. You can accept, refuse or revoke the storage of cookies in the cookie consent banner (opt-in procedure)

The Facebook pixel is directly integrated by Facebook when you visit our website and can save a "cookie" on your device. If you then log in to Facebook or visit Facebook while logged in, your visit to our online offer will be recorded in your profile. The data collected about you remains anonymous to us, so that we cannot infer the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook in order to associate it with the corresponding user profile and to use it for our own market research and advertising purposes. In the event that data is transmitted to Facebook for cross-referencing purposes, it is encrypted locally on the browser and only then sent to Facebook via a secure https connection. The only purpose of this is to match the data, which is also encrypted by Facebook.

Further information can be found at https://about.fb.com and in the Facebook privacy policy at https://facebook.com/policy.

17. Facebook Page

We maintain a Facebook Page on Facebook, a service provided by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland.

Facebook collects and uses data to provide analytics services (also known as "Page statistics") to Page administrators so that they have information about how people interact with their Pages and the content associated with them. This data includes information about the types of content users view or interact with or the actions they take, as well as information about the devices used, such as IP addresses, operating system, browser type, language preferences, and cookie data.

We share responsibility with Facebook Ireland Ltd. for collecting and processing data from visitors to our Facebook Page.

The processing of this data is based on our legitimate interest in having this information for advertising purposes within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. For this reason, we have entered into a joint responsibility agreement with Facebook regarding the processing of your data in accordance with Article 26 of the GDPR. This agreement with Facebook furthermore regulates in particular the security measures that Facebook must implement as well as its obligation to ensure that the rights of data subjects are respected.

You can find further information on Page statistics as well as information on how to assert your rights as a data subject in the "Information on Page statistics".
