Terms of sale

All products are covered by the following terms of sale. L’asticot reserves the right to change and amend this policy as business conditions warrant. L’asticot is not responsible for typographical errors that may appear on this page.

By placing an order the customer confirms having read these terms and conditions and has accepted them in their current format.

 

Only persons of at least 18 years of age and accountable may place an order. For customers under 18 years of age and not accountable, a signature of the legal representative is necessary. Persons under guardianship or curatorship must require the consent of their guardian, curator or the tutelary authority.

Order placement

If the information filled out by the customer upon placement of the order is incorrect, the seller cannot be held responsible for not being able to deliver the product. New shipping costs remain the responsibility of the client.

The order is confirmed by the acceptance of the price by the client.

 

The offers are valid as long as stock lasts.

 

Any purchase order signed electronically by clicking "I confirm my order" is an irrevocable acceptance and implies the obligation to pay the full amount.

 

The purchase order which the customer places online or the confirmation of the order sent my e-mail to the customer from l’asticot does not act as an invoice. The customer has the original invoice in his online account. The invoice does not come with the goods.

Prices

Prices are quoted net, including VAT. Only for deliveries within the European Union, prices are indicated in gross amounts, excluding VAT. L’asticot reserves the right to change prices without notice and at any time and particularly during special offers, promotions or any other marketing promotions.

 

Shipping costs are to be covered by the client and are itemized in an invoice.

The payment is made in advance. No order will be validated and sent to the client, as long as l’asticot has not received confirmation of payment of the full amount of the order.

Promotions and customer discounts are valid only until further notice. In principle, they may not be combined with other promotions, sales or discounts.

Completing a sale, payment and confidentiality

By clicking on ‘Validate my order’ you give your consent to order the articles contained in your basket. The sales contract between the parties is binding once l'asticot has sent the customer written confirmation of his order. The customer is then subject to the general conditions of sale.

The price of purchases made on lasticot.com is due in full at the time of ordering. Payment is by debit or credit card : Postfinance, Twint,Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Paypal.

We will save your receipt and send your order details and our general conditions of sale to you by email. You can view our general conditions on our website at any time along with a summary of your order in the ‘Your account’ section under ‘Summary’. In this section you can also view or download your receipt.

For all payment methods, the customer agrees to provide true and accurate data. The use of false data and identity theft is fraud and is punishable by law under article 146 and 147 of the CC and will lead to prosecution.

Secure payment

L'asticot does not have access to confidential information concerning the method of payment. All information entered is encrypted and sent securely to Worldline and Paypal; neither l'asticot nor third parties have access to it. In the case of a refund, we can credit the transaction via the same method of payment almost instantly.

Shipping

The shipping is done by post, within a period of 2 to 9 business days.

A longer period shall apply if the order is placed during the weekend or a holiday.

L’asticot disclaims all liability for any loss of the products ordered because of postal or other carriers strike or negligence.

Any damaged packaging must not be opened. Defects or damages must be reported by the customer to l’asticot customer service without delay (eshop@lasticot.com).

 

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the client and depend on the weight and the volume of the order and the delivery address.

For Switzerland, shipments are done by post in economy unless otherwise specified by the client. All shipping costs are billed to the client unless specified otherwise.

For shipments abroad, shipping costs are available under shipping.

Return, exchange and refund policy

The client has a period of 30 working days to return the ordered items at his own expense. This period runs from the day of delivery of the items.

Not suitable articles can be returned at the expense of the client within 10 days of their receipt. For partial delivery, the return period begins upon receipt of the last delivery.

 

Returned items must be in their original state and in their original packing, accompanied by the documents annexed there to (order number and reason of return, etc..) as well as a copy of the invoice or packing slip in the case of a gift.

The right of return is not valid for articles returned incomplete, damaged, engraved, custom made or used.

Except for the above mentioned, all articles can be the object of exchange. If l’asticot cannot guarantee the availability of the stock at the time of the exchange, a store credit will be issued instead.

The amount will be credited to his account within 10 days after receipt of the goods checked.

Package or defective products on arrival

Despite all the care taken by l’asticot in the preparation of packages, it may happen that an article is missing. On receipt of his order, the customer will ensure the compliance of the received products.

Any claim has to be made to the following address :eshop@lasticot.com.

After verification, l’asticot exchanges or reimburses the product, according to availability of stock and subject to the validation of the client’s claim or request.

Any claim after a period of 10 working days after receipt of the order will be rejected and l’asticot will be relieved of any liability.

The goods always travel at the peril of the customer.

All orders received with damaged packaging must not be opened. The customer must immediately contact the post office to report the damaged packaging, so that he can receive a written report confirming the damages. The client will quickly forward this document to l’asticot customer service. 

 

There is no right of compensation for mistakes in pictures, texts or prices.

Protection of personal data

All customer data is treated confidentially. The processing of personal information is subject to Swiss data protection laws.

L’asticot gathers and saves the data for its business development and transmits them only when processing the order.

L’asticot uses these data for marketing purposes within the company. It gathers also, optionally, the date of birth, the telephone number and the e-mail address of the client. In addition, it exchanges the data with the services of economic information to control credit and solvency of its clients.

The client may object at any time to other uses of its data for advertising purposes, by a simple written letter sent to customer service.

Territory and Applicable Law

The sale of products of l’asticot are subject to Swiss law. Any dispute relating to the existence, interpretation, execution or breach of the contract between l’asticot and the client will be, in the absence of a mutual agreement, the exclusive competence of the Swiss tribunals.
